Trusted Elections Tour
The North Carolina Network for Fair, Safe, & Secure Elections hosts the Trusted Elections Tour, a grassroots project initiated by The Carter Center. The tour consists of 24 town halls across the state to provide information on the electoral process, build trust in our voting system, and strengthen civil discourse.
These free, nonpartisan 60-minute town halls feature election administrators and local board of elections members who will explain how elections are administered in North Carolina. Participants will learn about voter registration, voting procedures, ballot processing and counting, post-election canvassing, and other key aspects of the election process. Each event also includes an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and engage in an open, respectful conversation about elections.
